Quiet Time

So, Giant still naps…most of the time. Except when he doesn’t. Then I tell him that he can play quietly on his own until his brother wakes up. This lasts about 5 minutes. This time Giant came to me with a duplo creation he’d built (an alligator, I believe. Complete with a chomping mouth). I thought it was nifty, and asked if I could take a picture:

Then I told him to peek his eyes out so I could take a picture of him too:

At which point he reminded me he only has one eye (when he is wearing his patch to help his lazy eye). “Just peek my one eye out, mom”:

That kid makes me smile 🙂  Even when he is not napping.
