Today is…Wednesday Sept 29, 2010

Hmmm, I’m afraid that this post was accidentally deleted by an Ettin.

I’ll try and recreate it, or at least share some pictures 🙂

The boys started the day by bringing up books from the basement:

Wonderfully captivated. But a little hard to persuade to discuss our gospel picture.

We did manage to talk about David and Goliath, and about how Heavenly Father will help us with things that we are scared of or that we think are too hard, if we have faith in Him:

Then, books in hand, we looked at the morning message:

Ettin made some marks (” ‘unday mommy! ‘Unn, Doo”):

After gym (play/exercise group), we read a fall story (“Going on a Leaf Hunt”):

And I was stuck by sudden understanding as to why Ettin usually holds his books upside down:

Poor second child.

They also played with blocks:

And tried mommy’s patience helped mommy bake a grape cake:

Why a grape cake, you ask? Because I bought a lot of awful grapes—they were almost woody, and I had to do something with them! What better end to awful grapes, than reincarnation as a cake 🙂  ?
