The learning activity of the day focused on the sense of taste.
When I was pretty sure Galoot would stay asleep for a bit, I brought out: apple, cheese, peanut butter, honey, butter, and toothpaste.
Then I told Giant to close his eyes and try and guess what it was I was putting on his tongue.
He said no.
He said Ettin could do it.
The trusting little soul.
So I gave an apple slice to Ettin, who munched happily, but didn’t really understand the activity.
Then Galoot woke up.
Of course.
So I continued with a sad baby.
Thankfully Giant was up to the experiment when I got back with Galoot.
He tried the apple:
And the cheese.
And the peanut butter.
And the honey.
And the butter.
And the toothpaste.
That was his favourite.
Ettin happily finished off the spoons after Giant had had his taste.
Then he crashed when daddy read to the boys before supper.
