I’ve come across a brilliant new weeder:
I was dreaming of a small weeder that could fit between tight rows, and hack off the weeds at their roots with minimal effort. Rather like a rototiller you could hold in your hand.
Or perhaps an electric garden knife.
But my budget does not allow for expensive experimentation.
It does, however, let me shove a serrated dollar store knife in my cupboard drawer and bend it…
Which led to this:
It cuts through the roots of weeds with ease (so long as I keep the mud wiped off):
Which leaves weeds I can just brush off the surface of the soil.
Dang good find!

We have a new favourite smoothie!
I call it a Green Apple Smoothie:
1/2 banana
2 chunks pineapple
2-3 chunks strawberries
stuff the rest of the mixer with spinach
fill up the cracks with apple juice
Green Tasty Goodness!!!

We had a gospel lesson. About how the Saviour is like a doctor…
We had a party to celebrate Texas Grandpa’s Birthday…
The boys had a fun time at the library preschool story time, where they ate their crafts (a decorated graham cracker kite) and left me nothing to take pictures of.
A very sweet, tasty, and fun day!
