Super Heros!
Scaling tall briefcases in a single bound!
We prayed.
We looked at our Picture, Jesus healing the Nephites :
We looked at our Morning Message:
(our challenge lately has been to see how much of the Morning Message we can get done before Ettin erases or draws over it!)
We geared up and walked through a mild snow storm to the Gym:
Fighting Winter Crazies with our own brand of Crazy!
After exercise we made Bagels.
Ettin helped:
Galoot snoozed:
“Why you flashing bright things at me Momma?”
Yummy Bagels!
After lunch Ettin went for a nap.
Giant and I worked on a craft:
“Little Miss Muffet.”
Giant tilted her bowl because, “she tipped it when she was runnin’ away from the spider.”
Then what?
Well, you see this rather large pinkish lump?
Giant was sitting on the heat vent and declared he was feeling “Nappy.”
So “nappy” he went until Daddy came home.
Apples.
Galoot loves ’em!
(Well, licking them anyway…he needs to work on growing those chompers before I let him have more than a few tastes 😉 )
We prayed. Giant prayed, actually: “‘sank you for our learning time.”
We looked at our picture:
Well. Sort of.
Some of us were a little distracted.
You see, it snowed. And snow makes giant very happy.
I tore the boys away from the window and looked at our Morning Message:
Galoot hung out:
Next…
What to do?
It was too snowy to walk to Stay and Play.
So Mommy tried to keep boys busy.
Our morning in a nutshell:
Playdoh!
Grumpy Boy!
Sweepin’ (the playdoh):
Snacks:
(who needs teeth?!)
Music Time:
(Ha! My boys only looked like that for a picture. Most of the time they looked like this:
…crazy).
After lunch we read a Sheep rhyme (and a few other songs):
and put little ones down for a nap.
Then Galoot and I worked on Sheep art!
Very sticky Sheep art.
Awww.
Now what.
Galoot was yearning to build a dog house.
As he does every single day.
So….
Yayyy!!!
I’m sure he’ll want to build another one tomorrow.
Finally, after Giant spent much time begging and convincing me of how safe he would be, I let Giant go and play outside:
In the snow. And cold.
(don’t worry, I gave him lots of hot chocolate to warm him up when he got back inside).
My wonderful Hubby.
Happy Birthday Daddy Bear!
We love you sooooo much!!!
ps. He wouldn’t put down Galoot for this shot.
He said it wouldn’t be realistic.
He’s right.
