Easter Fun!
About 5:30am, my Hubby pops his head into the bedroom and asks, “Are you going to do Easter stuff today?—The boys aren’t awake. Yet.”
I groggily debated whether Easter egg hunting would be just as fun next week.
My mother’s voice told me no 😉
So I found all the goodies sent from Grandma and Grandpa to us via the Easter Bunny, wrapped them up, and had a lot of fun (even that early in the morning) hiding eggs and presents everywhere.
Ettin woke up first around 7:30am. (Why did I get up so early?!) He was in awe of all the candy, and wasn’t sure what to do first: get eggs, eat eggs, or open eggs.
We then woke up Giant, who took the lead and got Ettin organized. They took their time finding eggs, especially when their goodies included such delights as bob the builder duplo:
…and outdoor toys!
Breakfast was ready when the boys were finished their hunt: Big Dutch Babies!
And I got to use my new Easter present: Bunny, Flower, and Egg stencils (yes, I should have cut the squares a bit bigger—but I think they still looked cute)
We went over to a friends to play later in the morning:
