Happy Birthday Grandpa!!!

hape brthda Granpa!!!!

(those streamers are fluttering in the breeze of the fridge fan, just so you know. Giant thought that was extra special 😉  )

We had a PARTY!!!

Even though our guest of honour is a zillion miles away in Texas…

Giant thought we should have a party. And get ribbons. And take a flat knife and pull the ribbons to make swirls in the ribbons!

Check.

We blew up balloons:

…and let them whiz around the room!:

What do you think Grandpa would like to eat for his birthday, Giant?

“Doughnuts. Because we had doughnuts for a snack at their house with Grandpa. And I had doughnuts for my birthday.”

We made fresh doughnuts:

Iced them.

Put candles on them — the cool ones with different colour flames, because that was important to Giant.

And sang Happy Birthday to Grandpa (we’ll sing for you later tonight too, I hope!)

We blew out some candles for you:

We had a bite or two for you:

Yes. Even Galoot got a suck. Because I knew that Grandpa would have snuck him a taste if he was here 😉

Then Giant worked on a Birthday Card:

(we’ll send it in the mail promptly 😉  )

Happy Birthday Grandpa!!!

We hope you have as much fun on your birthday as we did!

We love you so very much.

Thank you for being such a wonderful Grandpa for these boys to look up to.

Who likes to build, and has passed on that love to your daughter and her boys.

Who serves at Church, bright and early in the mornings 😉 So we can tell our boys that when we arrive at Church at 8:30am, Grandpa has been at his Church even earlier.

Who serves in the Temple, so that we can say “Grandpa and Grandma love going to the Temple too!”

Who took Grandma to the Temple to get married, so that we can be a forever family.

We are so glad you are part of our lives!!!

(Giant and Grandpa)

Right from the very beginning.
