Hooray! We went to the gym this morning!

I’m not sure that we were technically allowed back in, seeing as there was still some carpet installation equipment in there. But nobody kicked us out (and we didn’t see anyone), so we worked out!

And, since I had the camera in my pocket, I took some pictures of us in the gym.

Galoot trying to figure out a “hooler-hoop,” as Giant calls it:

We like to finish our gym time with games for the kids. They love it!

We play Red Light/Green Light.

Green Light GO:

Yellow Light SLOW:

Red Light STOP:

And then back to the start to play some more (Can you tell Giant is happy?)

Another favourite is “What Time is it Mr. Wolf?”

Or, in this case: “What time is it Mr. Wolf and Mr. Shark?”

“Lunch Time!!!!”

Giant went to play with his friend after gym, so Ettin worked with me in the garden until Galoot woke up from his morning nap.

Then my budding gardener helped me care for the plants downstairs:

Umm. What else did we do that was homeschooling related….

Colours! We identified colours! Yellow, Blue, Green, Orange…

Yes, it does too count.

Ettin in my boots:

After the little ones were napping, Giant and I planted seeds:

I even had him sound out words to spell back to me. You know, to do some real school stuff.

When his brother woke up, they went outside to give mommy panic attacks play:

One of Giant’s many garden plans:

“ZLAM” [“malez” which Giant explained were delicious and yummy plants that tickled your throat as they went down] and “LeTes” [lettuce]:

Later they brought up some books from downstairs and had a good read:
